Ordering Information

Addison-Wesley Book Express lets you order Addison-Wesley books directly from the publisher. Payment Methods

The Book Express requests that you provide payment at the time your order is placed. They accept prepayment by check, money order, or credit card (VISA, MasterCard, or American Express). No shipping charges are applied to prepaid orders!

Non-prepaid orders placed through your company's purchasing department will be invoiced with payment terms of net 30 days.

Sales Tax

All orders must include state sales tax (including Washington, DC) with the exception of orders shipped to the following states: AK, DE, HI, MT, NH or OR.

Shipping Information

Please allow Addison-Wesley three business days to process your order. When requesting special handling and expidited shipping, your order will be shipped by the end of the business day on which it is received.

You can get your orders in early for the new, hot books! Book Express will take your order and place it on back order, ready for shipment as soon as the book comes into inventory. No charges will be applied until your book is shipped.

• Shipping within the Continental US
  The standard shipping service is UPS Ground. Prepaid orders shipped by this standard services are not charged for shipping and handling. Expidited UPS services such as Overnight and Second Day are invoiced for the full price of the service
• Shipping to Alaska and Hawaii
  Orders shipped to Alaska and Hawaii are shipped Priority Mail. Prepaid orders will not be charged for shipping and handling.
• Shipping Anywhere Outside the US
  The Book Express will gladly ship your order to any international location. Orders can be prepaid by a valid credit card, a check drawn on a US bank, or bank transfer (Book Express will supply the account and transfer information upon request). Orders are shipped to international locations by Air Printed Matter Registered with an estimated delivery time of 8 business days. Please contact Book Express directly if you would like information on other shipping options. Please allow three business days for this service.

Discounts

Multiple quantity discounts are offered on purchases that exceed 4 copies of a single title. Please contact Book Express directly to get a quote of the discounting shedule and options.

The Buyers Plan allows you to get a free book after you order 6 books with a total value of at least $200. You may order the 6 books all at once, or in any increment (this includes any purchase made since 1992). You are entitled to your free book after you have remitted in full for the six books you have purchased.

To obtain your free book, simply indicate at the time you are placing an order that you are eligible for the Bonus Book, or later on, submit record of the books you have purchased. If the Book Express records do not confirm your purchase through them, they will contact you and request additional documentation.
